In September of 2017, the Silver Reef Museum will host a travelling exhibit from the
Smithsonian Institute entitled, The Way We Worked
The exhibit will feature photographs from the U.S. National Archives as well as interactive components which share the effects of industrialization, labor unrest and innovation on regular, everyday, working Americans over the past 150 years.

To accompany the Smithsonian, the Silver Reef Museum has been collaborating with
Arts to Zion Showcase at Gallery 35 and other Washington County Museums to curate a related collaborative series of exhibits: Washington County Works!  which will explore our
unique geography which molded the innovative growth of businesses, specifically the combination of mining and agriculture of our past and the art, culture and recreation that have helped to create a tourism base that sustains our workforce here in Washington County today. These side exhibits will set the stage for the arrival of The Way We Worked on Sept. 16th, 2017.

The Way We Worked  will open on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Cosmopolitan event center in Silver Reef Ghost Town, Leeds, UT and continue until November 4th, 2017.
